Pasta with Vodka


Recipe by Jaycee, Jay's FODMAP Kitchen

  • 1 tbsp garlic infused olive oil
  • 1 jar NOGO Classic Pasta Sauce
  • 150ml thickened cream (or lactose free if you prefer)
  • 60ml vodka
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1/3 cup reserved pasta water
  • 1/4 cup parmesan cheese
  • Pasta spirals (gluten free if you prefer)
  • Basil leaves to garnish
  • Salt and pepper


  1. Heat the olive oil in a large saucepan
  2. Add the jar of pasta sauce, and stir to heat through
  3. Prepare your pasta to its cooking instructions. Remember to reserve some pasta water
  4. Add the thickened cream. You want the colour to be Hermes orange
  5. Add the vodka, salt and pepper and allow to simmer for a few minutes
  6. Once the pasta is cooked, add directly to the sauce, along with the butter, parmesan and reserved pasta water
  7. Simmer until everything is incorporated and serve immediately
  8. Garnish with more basil and parmesan because it would be rude not to! :)
