Chilli Con Carne
This is a firm favourite in our house, easy to make, healthy and delicious, it’s pure food for the soul!
Ingredients:
- 500g mince meat
- Spanish Black Beans – 1 can , drained and washed
- 2 red capsicums, chopped
- 1 cup green spring onions
- 1 Jar NOGO Jalapeno Salsa (reduce amount to reduce heat)
- 1 400g Can Tomatoes
- 1 Massel beef stock cube
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 tsp sea salt
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 tablespoons Paprika (optional for extra heat and kick)
Instructions:
- Warm a pot or pan to high, then drop to medium heat when hot
- Pour in your vegetable oil
- Add the green spring onions, cook for 10-15 seconds
- Add your 500g mince meat, brown
- Add your Paprika to the pan and cook for 30 seconds
- Add balance of ingredients
- Cook for 20-30 minutes

- Tacos
- Serve with a salad
- Eat on it’s own!
