Smoked Salmon Bagel with Philly and Sweet Capsicum Relish

Serves 4

There is something so delicious about a savoury bagel and this is our all time favourite @ NOGO.  Stacked with Low FODMAP, GF (optional), Vegan/Vegetarian (optional), Dairy Free Ingredients]
  • Bagel (cut in half)
  • Watercress
  • Smoked Salmon 500 g
  • 6 tblsp Cream Cheese
  • Green Spring onion (2 stalks, finely chopped)
  • Rind of one lemon
  • ½ lemon, juiced
  • 3 tblsp NOGO Sweet Capsicum Relish
  • Caper berries (or standard capers) – 1 tblsp, finely chopped
  • Salt and cracked pepper to taste
 To serve
  • Lemon wedges x 1 each sandwich
  • Watercress
 Mixture
  • In a bowl, cream cheese, green spring onion, lemon rind, lemon juice, Sweet Capsicum Relish, caperberries, salt and pepper
 Method
  • Place bagel on chopping board
  • Spread the mixture onto the top side of bottom side of the bagel (should make 4 bagels)
  • Place smoked salmon on top of the mixture
  • Place watercress on top of the salmon
  • Place the top piece of the bagel on top of the mixture
  • Transfer to a fresh place
