Creamy Basil & Chilli Pasta Sauce with Spaghetti
This takes moments to prepare and takes our Basil Pasta Sauce up a step! Quick to make, and mouth watering to eat. Come on, give this delicious creamy recipe a try!
Serves 4
Pasta
- 1 packet pasta
- 1 jar NOGO Basil Pasta Sauce
- Olive oil to coat cooked pasta
- 1 teaspoon dried chillie flakes (or one fresh red finger chilli)
- 1/2 cup cream
- Grated Parmesan for the table
- Cook pasta to just al dente
- Whilst the pasta is cooking, warm the Basil Pasta Sauce and add the tsp of chilli flakes
Note: this sauce does not need cooking, just heating as it’s pre made, ready to serve)
- Drain Pasta when cooked and reserve a small amount of cooking liquid
- Place pasta back in pot and pour a good glug of olive oil and the pasta water, stir, let rest for a moment
- Just before you serve add the cream to the sauce
- Serve Pasta into individual bowls
- Top with the Creamy Pasta Sauce
- Serve with a fresh leaf of Basil as decoration (optional)
- Sprinkle parmesan on top if you love the extra cheese!
